Home > Topic-based help > Greek symbols Greek symbols In FSTA Direct it is possible to specify Greek symbols in searches, for example as in 'γ-globulins' or 'β-sheets'. ![]() In Easy Search, Guided Search, and in the Keyword Selector a Greek symbols button provides access to this functionality. Click on the button and a window opens displaying the Greek character set in lower- and upper-case. ![]() Select the character you wish to search for and click on 'OK'. The character is added to the search box and you can now enter the rest of the search term. Example: Search for the term 'γ-globulins' in Easy search
