Change view

The Search Results page of FSTA Direct can display records in one of three views:

  • Title - brief synoptic information about a record
  • Bibliographic - all the information required to locate the article
  • Full - all fields, including the abstract

The Default view can be set under Preferences and the current setting is displayed in the FSTA search status panel. (Prepay users should note that your account is charged when records are retrieved in Bibliographic or Full formats.)

The records displayed on a page can be changed by moving your mouse pointer to Change View in the light-blue menu bar and by selecting the required format from the displayed sub-menus.

The current view format is shown in bold face.

The format for any single record can be changed by moving your mouse pointer to the pop-out icon at the right-hand end of the title bar for each record, and clicking on the desired format.

A new window or browser tab opens with a single-record view of the selected record in the chosen format.
